what would be a just consequence for a murder?

I think it would vary depending of the motive to murder.
If it was in self defense I think spending some time in jail would be fine, perhaps counseling and an evaluation of the situation the person was exposed to.
But if harm was intended probably be killed back?? Don't know how I feel about death penalty. Don't like jail either feel like it's system and rules are not working well.



A lifetime in jail is a just punishment. It separates him from the people he loves, as he did with the victim's family.
